Why a business registration does not prove manufacturing capability
A company number answers an identity question. Buyers sometimes stretch that answer into an assumption that the entity owns machines, employs a production team or can deliver a specified product. The register was not designed to answer those questions.

A field-level check
Match the legal name and number to the register, then open a separate capability file. Request a current product specification, relevant site information and a dated explanation of which entity performs production. Tie any subsequent check to the exact product and location.
Write down the exact field, the party that supplied the information, the original document or page, the date seen and the scope of the check. If a reviewer took an action, record that action rather than a general “verified” label. Reopen the source when the transaction or underlying document changes.
Where the inference stops
A trading company may be a valid counterparty without being the manufacturer. Conversely, a factory name on a brochure may not match the contracting company. Neither arrangement is automatically bad; the relationship must be explicit.
A missing answer is a question to resolve, not permission to substitute a guess. Separate a statement by the supplier from a public record and from a documented human review. No source in this article proves a quality ranking or an existing buyer relationship.
